Donna Griffin is a Business Continuity Analyst with the Capital Group Companies. Donna joined the Capital Group in 1996 working in the shareholder and retirement plan services department. In 2001, she made the move to business continuity. She holds a degree in Business Administration with an emphasize in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne.
What is the Treasurer responsible for?
The Treasurer is responsible for recording all Chapter financial activities and maintaining all financial records with duties that include:
- The authority to sign any check, draft or other order of Chapter payment of money. Checks must be countersigned by the President, Vice-President and/or the Secretary.
- Maintains and prepares financial statements to the Chapter membership, Board of Directors, and ACP in such form and frequency as ACP Corporate or Chapter policy and procedures may direct.
- Provides an annual statement of Sources and Uses to the ACP Corporate Treasurer/CFO by the end of January each year for filing with such public agencies as required preserving the ACP Corporate non-profit status.
- Maintains records for the Chapter's Membership Points Program.
- Maintains meeting attendance records for DRI continuing education credits.
- Provides for the custody and safekeeping of all Chapter securities and monies.
- In the absence of the President, Vice President, and Secretary, has full exercise of all fiduciary rights and powers of the President.
- Files annual statements and forms with ACP Corporate and public agencies as required by the Bylaws, Articles of Association, State and Federal laws, to preserve the Chapter's non-profit status.
- Oversees annual audit of the Chapters financial records and processes.
- Report changes in chapter fiduciary responsibilities and dues structure to the ACP Corporate BAO and CFO.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the President.
