- Request for Storage Space. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) are reaching out to public and private sector businesses that potentially have space to store pallets of medical equipment and supplies. This is an important program for response to catastrophic events in the State of California. There are an estimated 4,000 pallets looking for a home.
NOTE: There is a tax credit for any business that actually stores the pallets.
Lynn Manzano accepted 96 pallets for storage at Experian. If your business is interested in storing medical equipment and supplies for CDPH, please contact Lynn at lynn.manzano@experian.com or call her at +1 714-830-5474. - BCI Membership. Did you know that a certification with DRI International grants you a by-pass of the exam with BCI?
Here is an excerpt from the BCI article Alternative Route to Membership Program: MBCP, CBCP or ABCP will be considered for membership in the BCI
The Membership Council of the Institute has carefully examined other BCM credentials, mapping them against BCI certification, and felt it was appropriate to extend an invitation to join the BCI to those who hold respected credentials.
To date, the
Council has identified the MBCP, CBCP and ABCP as credentials whose foundations are broadly in line with the requirements for our gold standard AMBCI and/or MBCI certifications. Recognized as a validation of experience and knowledge, professionals that hold MBCP, CBCP or ABCP certifications and are in good standing are invited to apply for membership in the BCI without having to pass the official exam
