Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will fill the role of Business Continuity Planning Manager for the IT (information technology) business unit. The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between information security and Corporate Security for initiatives that require collaboration between the two groups. Typical responsibilities will include: assisting IT clients in the development and maintenance of business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency management plans; developing and deliver business continuity training to all levels of management and staff; facilitating the execution of information security projects by acting as a liaison between security SMEs (subject matter experts) and project managers; participating in the development and implementation of controls pertaining to CIP critical infrastructure protection requirements; acting as a single point of contact for IT business continuity issues between Business Continuity Management and IT Business Continuity Planning Administrators; developing and delivering risk management training to all levels of IT management and staff; ensuring the effective deployment and utilization of automated business continuity and information security tools; directing the planning, analysis, design, evaluation, demonstration, construction, implementation, and satisfaction of requirements of projects/products; providing management and strategic direction to a project team through establishing goals and negotiating project commitments; creating project management plans that specify charter, scope, approach, management plans, statement of work, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), schedule, performance management baselines, milestones and target dates, risk management plan and project change control plan; monitoring, measuring and reporting on project progress to management and clients; and performing other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess five years experience in business continuity, information security, and/or information technology. Must possess two years supervisory or project management experience. Must possess a CBCP, CISSP certification or equivalent job experience.
General Job Requirements:
The successful candidate is required to have a Bachelors Degree in Business or a related technical discipline; or an equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and experience. Demonstrated experience managing and implementing small to medium projects, including identifying, maintaining, and/or adjusting the cost, scope, and resources, managing vendors, and overseeing the formal planning, tracking, and reporting of project performance, as well as some experience managing cross-functional teams. Demonstrated experience in consulting with clients, including independently identifying client needs, developing action plans, identifying deliverables, and presenting results. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused to appropriately identify & respond to clients business needs, and facilitate the presentation of recommendations. Demonstrated ability to accurately analyze information, integrate people processes, systems, and technologies, and make strategic decisions regarding project scope, impact, policy, development, and implementation. Must demonstrate the ability to interface effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, project personnel and all levels of management to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in. Must demonstrate the ability to take initiative and accountability for results. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with the eBRP planning software. IT disaster recovery experience and information security experience.

Responsibilities: The qualified candidate will manage a multi-million dollar Business Continuity consulting services practice throughout North America. The focus will be to grow a professional services practice while overseeing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Responsible for managing a team of consultants and consulting managers who are responsible for the day-to-day delivery of client services; building the client base, assisting the sales executives with writing and presenting proposals and serving as the company's subject matter expert.
· Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of complex contingency planning methodologies.
· Demonstrate top-notch project management skills and use current business continuity tools and techniques to enhance the success of deliverables and services for the client.
· Accurately assess how the company can deliver value to clients. Properly understand the client's needs and determine what services best meet the client's expectations.

Qualifications

· Candidates must have previous 3rd party consulting experience within Business Continuity services, preferably with a BIG 5 firm or another large professional services consulting organization.
· Min of 5 years management experience required.
· Excellent knowledge of business continuity and availability services.
· Must have proven experience overseeing multiple engagements simultaneously and continuously.
· Experience managing changing priorities among staff under tight deadlines and writing project plans for medium to complex engagements.
· The ability to confidently present to client's executive staff.
· Exceptional staff and project management skills required.
· Must have superior communication skills with the proven ability to listen and understand a client's needs as well as manage the client's expectations throughout the duration of an engagement.
· Prefer candidates with the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) designation through the DRI International.

Crisis Management And Safety Site Leader

Blizzard Entertainment currently has a temporary opening for a crisis management and safety site leader. The Blizzard Entertainment site leader will be primarily responsible for implementation and initial management of Blizzard Entertainment’s Crisis Management (CM) program and Occupational Health and Safety (Safety) programs. He or she will finalize the development of the CM program and roll it out in the Irvine, California and Austin, Texas facilities. This is a temporary position that is expected to last for six to nine months.
Responsibilities:
· Further develop the CM and Safety programs based on existing plans.
· Coordinate overall CM planning and preparedness, including recruiting/selecting team members, CM team development, drills, site information tracking, and emergency response planning.
· Provide up to date CM and Safety information that is easily accessible and understandable for employees via the company intranet.
· Identify and purchase all appropriate CM equipment.
· Serve as safety contact/liaison for staff, management, and outside emergency agencies.
· Develop and implement a training program in relation to safety and crisis management for all employees.
· Evaluate and analyze the company's safety and health performance to minimize risk and ensure that our facilities are in OSHA compliance. Develop and implement all applicable health and safety programs.
· Develop process for investigation of all accidents and near misses to determine root cause and any needed corrective action.
· Track and report injury and illness statistics and activity on a quarterly basis.
· Provide support and coaching to the staff and managers on health and safety related matters.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in safety or related field (or commensurate experience) and a minimum of five years of hands-on safety experience
